This section deals with all FAQs covering the "Premium Content Services" packages.
The Scotsman Premium Content Service gives you online access to unique and distinctive content from The Scotsman newspaper. The majority of content on the site remains free, however for a special annual rate of just £29.95 per annum, you can access opinion, analysis, columnists, obituaries and The Scotsman crossword, Chess and Bridge, from anywhere in the world.
This premium service also provides access to our archive of Scotsman crosswords, giving you several thousand puzzles to solve.
Payment for the service is simple and secure. You can pay using all major debit and credit cards via the online payment system that you see when trying to view a piece of premium content (donated by a red P). Your initial £29.95 will be debited from your card for the first 12 months, and will be automatically renewed on an annual basis, unless you have cancelled your subscription in the meantime.
To access your premium content, you need to first of all register through our Member Centre, from where you will create a username and password which will give you full access to the Premium Content service.

Payment is simple and secure. You can pay using all major debit cards and credit cards via the online payment system you see when trying to view a piece of premium content. Payments will be charged to your credit or debit card. To cancel your subscription at anytime after this period simply contact our Customer Service team on 0131 620 8400 or via the Customer Service contact form. Please do not include any of your debit / credit card details in your emails to us or when you complete the Customer Service contact form.
No, your current scotsman.com Members Centre login (email address + password) will continue to be the method by which you access content on scotsman.com, whether it be free behind the login barrier or premium behind the payment barrier. Once you have subscribed to "scotsman.com Premium", access will continue to be handled by your scotsman.com Members Centre login. If you do not have a scotsman.com Members Centre login then please complete the following form to register.
Yes, your login contains the details of what you have paid for and what you have 'rights' to view on scotsman.com. Thus you can access the premium content from any PC as long as you login using your email address + password when required.
